When it comes to musicians, Julien Baker is one of my favourite artists to have emerged, in the last 5 years. So, when I discovered she was embarking on another Australian tour, at a venue 5 minutes from my house, I got in touch with her management about designing a poster for the show.
The poster was inspired by Julien’s song, Turn Out the Lights. Unfortunately, near the time of going to print, Julien had to cancel the show, so this poster never made out into the wild. However, it’s a design I’m particularly fond of, and one of my favourite designs.
